Your not gonna break it!! You won't break tailshaft, axles, diff centre ot gears, the only thing I could think of would be clucth, but You'll probably be harder on that with no slicks, tryin to pedal it off the line, rather than just let the farka out and hang on. 6BOOST

mine will i guess thats probably the biggest restriction so if i had a nice exhaust manifold and a "medium cam" then it would be fairly similar to tempests setup, it'll have to make decent power with a bigger turbo Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Why would reliability be an issue over 300rwhp with a properly built hiflo? 360 thrust bearing etc? Not some dodgey Ebay brand...

I agree Grant. Don't take your car to the 1/4... Lets go to a sprint day at QR instead- now THATS fun! I wanna see your car come out of 6 with a pile of lock and come screaming past the pit wall then hit the bumps at the end of the straight and crash into the..... never mind. It would be the best fun you've had in your car. Plus we can do back to back lap timing!

Not some dodgey Ebay brand... it probably wouldn't matter on that. I'm talking about a hilfo t3 factory turbo, they aren't 360thrust. i know of heaps that have broken with a bit of boost up them. And i do believe that a BB tubro will outlast a thrust bearing turbo that is pushing big hp/boost.

na, it was a jim berry clutch, think it was about $600, so far so good, held limiter launches on slicks with the hiflo... had to get a nissan gazelle slave though as the vl one won't release the clutch as there isn't enough throw in it.

And would go well on a VL too i'd imagine i'd say they are as reliable as any other turbo on todays market. Its all about who does the work, not the turbo. You wont beat a 600hp GT ... a few SAU guys are fiddling around with the hiflows and coming with good combos (kinda off topic) There are 2 mates of mine playing with a RB25/VG30 hybrid turbo GCG do (if you supply the elusive VG30 rear). Could be interesting as previously mid ~260rwkw was what came out of another very similar such hybrid Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
