definetly go 18's , a decent set of 18's will always set off a VL these are only 17's and they looked too small , pity the car is ****ed now because i wanted to put a set of 18" VY SS's on there Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

look on car domain under "nathansvl" thats my old vl calais theres a couple pix of it with 17" anz's,and a couple with my vzss 18's them 18's on my calais looked like 19s cos the spokes go right to the edges

18s are the way to go, you'll never be satisfied unless you get some fantastic 17s. All these cars are looking great too guys, I love seeing threads like this coz i know there's gonna be some more tasty VLs being posted Here's mine on 18" VYSSs. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey fellas its been a while for this thread. but i am after a set of 18's for the Calais, and iv been contemplating, what would be grate. please post up your thoughts.. 18'' set of Simmons with a bit of dish in the back or some Holden wheels i am over the look with the ve's thanks please give thoughts Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

A mate of mine had a vl wagon with vx r8's (I think that's the wheels) and they looked really good for 18's

if you have the choice of simmons over holden wheels go the simmons other wise maybe chuck up some pics of your car and people can give their opinion on what holden wheels will suit it..

yeh still not a fan if i change colour. i was talking to a couple of mates about rims, talking about its not all about size. ive been on 18's on the vl and 19's and heaps of differences, even tho its only 1 size bigger, there is allot to it .. - cars rides smoother - better take off - sits lower - spedo's not out. and maybe a few others things, each to there own. So for now a nice clean set HSV WHEELS 18's. and soon enough probably shorten the diff and get a deep set of SIMMONS in 18's, future GOAL .. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hahah yeah something like that, 18's with 225 40. they look nice a sleek with the rim. NOT AS BOLGY as 235,245. ive been at it for a few day trying to suite some 18's with the calais, but cant seem to find some images on them. unless some Photoshop take place. all i have on vt gts on a calais Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

vt gts 18s look really good.not much else in 18s does look as good thoe
