BTW SPORT Models were not well known as the LE's...In the SPORT range you had more options too choose such as...6.0L V8,Different HDT bodykits,IRS,Peter Brock Energy Polarizer,Which was standard in the LE Range...
The VL 'Sport by HDT' kits were available for virtually the entire range of Commodores and were available in six-Cylinder, turbo six and V8 configurations. These ultra rare option packed VL's underwent Engine, body work and suspension tweaks.
Suspension consisted of Brock's 'System One' springs and gas pressure shocks. Wheels were HDT 15 x 7" Aero's with flush fitting covers. Body mods consisted of a body coloured grill, air dam, side skirts and rear spoiler. Momo rims were optional, so starting with a Calais and with all boxes ticked, your Sport would look much like an LE.

As for the owner of the Sport now, he ownes a crazy car and yes i do admit it looks A1, as they say Jelously is a curse, i hope that car goes all the way and hits 9 or 8s. It'll be the car of the century.

F*ck yeh it matters if its genuine black! You obviously dont know how important it is when it involves a HDT/HSV/Limited edition. No one wants to own a mock up colour and then claim it's genuine when it's not. To me it matters and to alot of other people too b/c there getting lyed to!!! Dude, my mate use to own it I've pretty much grown up with that car, dont tell me!!! The ID tags read Blue, get it right. Dont start this again, we finished this conversation last night with HDTCAL. Get the papers off the owner and do sum investigating b4 you talk champ!!!
