Yes, can do the manifold with the turbo absolulety anywhere(obviously within reason). I have 2 other low mount manifolds lined up at present, depending on whether I make the one for OVL087 top or low mount. Will find out in the next week or 2. As for making the collector join the plate neatly, I'll post one up next week, I'm making a split pulse To4 manifold tomorrow for TroyVK. I'll PM the mods and join up so I can attach them myself. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Is that manifold split pulse cal-a-kid?? Or does it just have a split pulse plate on an open collector?? If its the later, I'm surprised it works that well, thats a real big no no!! No split turbines on open collectors!!!!! EVER!!!! You can go the other way though no probs, open housing on split manifold. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Its always a bit of a bitch when you change lots of things and you end up with something your not happy with, you don't know which part it was that made the problem, like if it was too laggy. Typically, at GT35 with a 1.06 rear would make full boost at 4200rpm or sooner on a VL, but on cmy747's car, beacuse the converter doesn't lock up till 5400, it doesn't transmit load to the turbo as much to spool it up quicker. Mind you, the thing is so responsive it run a 1.68 60ft just foot braking it on low boost, and on high boost it sounded like he transbraked it it came up so hard. His car takes about 2 to 3 seconds from the time you mash the throttle till you hit full boost. Makes a genuine weight shifted 500hp too Who said pump fuel and stock bottom ends were **** Your car will be a bit of an unknown Troy, as I don't know how eell the converter will suit your turbo and cam. It should be big enough seeing as how its out of pannic when it had the 1147c and the GT42 on it, as long as it isnt TOO big. I think you will be quite hapy with the results though, I imagine if you get your ignition up to scratch there is no reason it won't go 400rwhp, its got everything cols does. Or almost. Should easily run a 10 anyway. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

id b stoked wit 400 on matts dyno it seems lik its pretty hard to get that on his dyno if i hit that then id b wrapped!! its only goin there on straight pump fuel tho, no additives or anythin i just want it to do more than what it done b4 plus im goinback to a single coil setup hopefully which is the best coil to use? will the std vl coil suffice or not?

Maybe put up a post and ask people what they run and power they make. I know the EA falcon coils are good, they are a genuine HEI bosch coil, and $20 from a wrecker. But people can share with you what boost an HP levels theirs brake down at and stuff, I would think even call mat and ask him in his experience with VL's what they have had and what HP they make for a given ignition system. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Haven't done any yet, about to do 2 for RB26 headed RB30's. But as most of my work is all custom fabricated anyway, I can put the turbo anywhere you want and to suit any application. If you're not happy with it, send it back and I'll make another one that better suits your needs. Cheers....................6BOOST

what materials are you using on your manifolds?

Thanks a lot for the kind words guys, its nice to know others think they look the goods. As for materials, they are all made from steam pipe, the straights are made from heavy wall steam tube the same internal diameter as the bends, and I only use long radius and 45 degree bends in my manifold, I will NOT use short radius 90's on any manifold I make. I also do not tig weld them myslef, I have them profeesionally tig welded by someone who has been in the industry for 17 years and builds rails, doorslammers and altered's out of chromoly, I'd be loath to sacrifice the quality and finish of my manifolds to save some $$$ doing it myself until I was a LOT better at tig welding....... Better start savin that 6g for a tig to practice on 6BOOST PS, keep an eye out in the coming months for a few very recognised turbo cars from around the country sporting 6boost manifolds, from 600hp awd's to 1000+hp 6 cylinders I hope to be doing some back to back testing for them.
