i got done for having tinted tail lights so it looks mad at the time but they don't look so good when they are sitting in the shed doing nothing. My advise would be to get a nice new set of lights either standard calais the clear ones whatever floats your boat realise that you could of spent the money on something else and move on with your life cops suck the big one

Use nightshades, but only a couple of light coats. The person who owns the car below has had it like this for 6 years with no attention from the cops. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

nice lights!! i know what im doin this weeked besides putting my muffler back on coz it now sounds even more sh*t.

nightshades looks sweet just stick to the instructions though. i put 5 coats on as apposed to the instructions 3 coats. **** it is dark. im sure ill get nailed but meh who cares only gunna have the car for another 3 weeks till i finish spraying the vlct

Just remember Guys, Tinting tailights means voiding your insurance as they car is unroadworthy. So when you get hit up the arse you wont be covered. but they do look good! Just remember your taking a risk with them. Greg

I got hit up the arse of the VL a couple of years ago, he didn't have insurance so went through mine. They didn't even question the tinted taillights. Most assessors have no idea with modifications etc etc.

Also would depend on the insurer, RACV where ****s of inspectors when someone wrote my car off.

yeh stickers not there no more and yes they are dark but cops havent said nothing yet.

everyone keeps telling me not too black out the lights cause cops just target them.... but i love the look and im sure everyone else does... where can i buy this paint? and what is it called and how much? also im unsure about this sanding bac the ridges thing>??? which part of the lights does everyone black out... the whole things by the looks of it???

i blacked out everything from the outside, no sanding, just a good wash with wax and grease remover, ull find that will dull off the plastic so theres a bit of adhesion there, its called night shades, you get it from autobarn, bout 16 bucks a can or so.
