I love em but they are bitches on the street especially with solid setups! But hey thats whats fun about it!
Im running in my 372 cuber and is running a big solid with about .630" lift and has a 4200rpm stall and is good, hopefully for 500hp+. Its my everyday car and its a dream to drive on the street....doesnt splutter, doesnt overheat, smooth to drive......and lets not forget its 1200rpm idle
And in its untuned state im getting around 20L/100km. Which is probably the same as a 500hp+ VLT
No matter what engine it is, if its modified, it will drink fuel

09-07-05, 11:44 GMT+10#57 thats a sweet car, saw it in SMC ages ago, but gotta say not the biggest fan of the filter sticking out of the bonnet though. And the turbo badge was funny for about 2 secs then after that I thought it was just dumb, should have a '5.0' badge on it how sweet would that look.

Thats for sure. After reading up on a VL build, where the owner is using a twin turbo, quad cam toyota V8, i should of gone down that route as well, instead of keeping with a pushrod engine. The specs of those engines from FACTORY are unbelievable!!

Just cause you dont have a good one.
There is like 1 good V8 and your saying its gunna flog 99% of the turbos but out of how many slug v8's pull 11's compared to the turbos? Ratio of fast VL V8's to VL Turbos isnt good man.
