anyone in the clayton area watch out for this car IPU 138, yellow coloured old bomby datsun looking thing. tried to either steal or break into my car at 1 in the morning. pity i was behind the wheel with my lights off parked while i was changing CD's. the second my lights came on this guy panicked and took off in a flash without headlight or anything, scared the **** out of him. i was so angry i chased the ****er for 15 minutes, i actually went to nudge his ass end out and cause him to crash but: 1. it was a residential area and didn't wanna get innocients. 2. gf was in the car going off at me. in the end i thought i'd be following for too long and the potential for him to lead me into some ambush was getting pretty high. gave details to cops but that would go in the never follow up pile. if anyone sees this guy bash the **** out of him, or tell me where he is.

nothin to do with pinchin cars, but i remember once being behind a red vl turbo a few years ago in my mates torana. drivin in essendon near the royal, this guy pulled out and done a massive burnout in the wet, and promptly launched himself into the gutter and onto his roof!! he left a black tyre mark 3 metres off the ground on a power pole, as the car almost 'stood' on the boot. classic. shame it was a nice car too...

Makes you think hey. thats becoming a very common story. My mates rX3 was pinched from promaz a few month back. They cut through a chain wire fence, oxy'd through the roller door, drove out 8 cars to get to his. One of the cars they moved out was the owners new RX8 on 20's left all the other cars running in the driveway. They had to tow it away to cos it was having work done and not complete. They had sused the car out and they knew what they wanted.

And. david85dc - Yer i was followed home by 2 VL's and 1 had a calaisturbo.com.au sticker on the back window. I sort of jumped stories, cos i wanted you guys to hear that GT Falcon stroy 2. I HATE THEIVES!!!!

Hey but IMO I think that atleast 9/10 of these so called stories where x amount of cars had been moved seem a bit suss. with Insurance jobs they're not going to get caught if there is not enough evidence.... are they? Because if I were going to have to move, lets say six cars to get to one I wouldn't mind taking that new turbo or commpressor sitting over there in the corner. It just seems strange that the car was the only thing taken........

It just seems strange that the car was the only thing taken........ I am good mates with the owner of PLZTRY the RX3 I mentioned above, he had NO insurance and is shattered. The took absolutely nothing else they got in and out quick cos they knew what they wanted and didn't take anything they hadn't planned for. They "know" who did it (as in the cops) and raided his house and found parts identifed from several other robberies using a similar MO but nothing of his car, these guys are pro's its a pretty slick operation. Its like when STR8AZ went, nothing has surfaced, they only took what they wanted and kept it neat and tidy not slowing down or taking what they know they can't get rid of. They would know before they pinched it where it was going, they have a shopping list and us it. After 5 minutes of chasing me at 40-110 (ish), his siren went on Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
