^ Yeah I hate being told that I have to like Skylines because they have the same engines as our VLs.
I respect the fact that Nissan decided to put RB30s in VLs but that doesnt mean I like Skylines.
Even if VLs came out with RB26TTs in them it still wouldnt change my mind on Skylines.
Its like saying that people who drive around in VYs and VZs with LS1s and LS2s have to like Corvettes.

I dont believe everyone on here likes Skylines and I respect that 100% cause atleast alot of people have the balls to say they dont like them even in real life.One of my mates wants to buy a Skyline and I told him I dont really like Skylines well I copped a serve from him but atleast im not afraid to say it.
Besides Skylines are known on a world wide level VLs are only found in Australia which is why I love them so much.

Just because someone owns a skyline doesnt mean they are a ricer dude. I own a skyline and a VL and i love them both, you say you dont think they are crap but you wanna blame stuff on them, like i said its driver training and also its the phucking media, they have a big say in what influences people alot. DOnt get me wrong, VL's are very tuff indeed heaps of my mates have got them, but i think your comment of "blame it on the skylines" is a pretty biased comment. im not a fan of the skylines either, the body of a VL just looks tougher and more stylish than any of the skylines (i read b4, the reason the r31 didnt pick up in aus is because of the 'plain' body).
If the GTR came in a 4door i would consider one. but apart from that i dont think i would ever get one.
and if u put an aftermarket 10m high wing, your a tool!
Maybe you guys should invest in a Stage A. Are they Japanese 'sports' cars aswell.
This threads trash- I didn't read anywhere, where anyone said that we HAVE to like Skylines because the VL Has a Nissan Engine.
I did read though that Skyline owners diss VL's. Some of them yes, the d1ckhead ones.
The same ones that own VL's and diss Skylines.
i hate skylines, i'd consider a gtr or maybe a 34gtt but anything else REALLY doesnt appeal to me.
And PS, if you think what i just wrote is "dissing" skylines then you gotta get out more, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I know a white or maroon r33 gtst is probably a "good all round car" but fark me you wouldnt catch me dead in one, i dont think they are awful cars by construction or lack of performance (image if anything), i just dont like them.
Well personally out of the 31,32 and 33- I'm yet to see an interior that isn't cheap and nasty looking.
31's aren't my most favoured car, however I've got a photo of a black 31 coupe with r34 gtr rims that looks absolutely horn. 32's would have to be my all time favourite skyline- being realistic, I can't afford an r34 gtr. A 32, with a reasonable kit, nice rims, clean, without a wing. Horn. 33's they seem too chunky, round and square.
And atmo I wasn't talking to anyone specifically.
What I find funny though.. Is my brother drives an n/a 95 model supra, with a kit, and automatic. In my opinion its fairly ghey.. If it was twin turbo, or at least manual, I wouldn't care as much. But he of all people says oh you'd never catch me in a Skyline, ever, bloody rice boys. I just laugh and say, but an rb20det would kick your cars ass.. Hell, back when my vl was n/a I thought I would of had him up until 120-130..

uhh dude there is such thing as a R33 GT-R 4 door... not sure about t he r32 or r34 models

While were on the subject of smashed skylines, 2 weeks ago, I seen this dumb karnt in a white r33 came around the corner (just near my house) trying to be a sik karnt, lost it, went up the gutter and straight into fence and into the front yard of the house. Whats with skyline drivers crashing???
