XF tb (doesnt do **** all really) Mate, Before I did my XF TB mod I spoke to David Bell from Commsport Engineering (they fabricate those 59mm TB's). Anyway he told me the amount of gain you get depends on the condition and km's on your motor. He had 350,000km motors making not much power with the larger TB where as his mate's VL with just over 120,000km was pulling an extra 24rwhp (there is a dyno print-out on their website). cheers, joel. 24rwhp is a big gain for such a fairly cheap and simple mod that is gain rite?...not total power??...haha i was thinkin bout puttin 1 on mine with a toyota blower and seein how it runs cheers

I think redvk was referring to the wording of his sentence Quote: where as his mate's VL with just over 120,000km was pulling around 24rwhp. As in the car was pulling 24rwhp, not making a gain of 24rwhp

24rwhp.. i dont believe it until i see it.. you sure it wasnt turbo mate? thatl be about right if it was a turbo motor.. but they use different concepts of making power.. it forces the air in.. where its basically usless on a NA motor..
