how would i know? i went to buy the car, but its not worth it. im not dissing his car, but its basically a dodgy sell, hopefully this stops people from bloody asking about the car. 1. The trans was rooted (we already know this) 2. It has terrible rust around both windows, large spots on 4 different panels (worse than usual) 3. Pop ups dont work 4. One door is a completely different colour 5. The picture of the car was from a few years ago, so the car has aged heaps since, looks no where near as good 6. He had cut and polished the car a while back, but he had left the white coloured excess on the car, so that was eating away at the paint 7. The car was incredibly dirty and messy 8. It was missing interior parts 9. The interior was real dirty and had stains on most pieces 10. Two of the side door mouldings needed replacing and im sure theres more, but i checked out the car over a month ago so its a bit hard to remeber everything. sorry atzoid if you take this to offence. but this car would need A LOT of money put into it. im thinking probly in excess to 5 grand. Im sure you could find a stock vl calias in good nick for cheaper than 3.5+5=8.5 grand

i mean im not trying to put people off buyin the car. but i mean your looking at a brand new trans. which can be anywhere from like 1k to like 3k just for your normal one. then ya pretty much looking at a whole paint job, with several panels replaced. youd have to get the various bits and pieces. new pop ups. new interior. and once youve done and paid for all that, you have a stock vl calais. doesnt make sense to me.

Photos can be very deceptive................especially when theyre 3yrs old?!!!
