i have a totally diff opinion about all this as i am now the owner of a mk 1 xr6t i would say it would be how he treated it coz the cars are not meant to be race cars. they are made to last 100000 of thousands of kilometers not one meet. think of how much damage you do when you do burnouts and thrash cars. my old man has got a new ss and when i took it ot for one night of floggin it gave up. it had about 16500 on it and it starved itself of oil and developed a savage bottom end knock as you can imagne the old man wasnt impressed but it was holdens fault and mine for treating it that way. i raced a few vls now and none have come close. And i have raced the gen 3 and got it easy so much for the ss being in the same catergory. they are freaks

now im going to do all the the usuall upgrades as you do on a vl to the xr6 and see what happens i will keep everyone interested informed. mods include aftermarket comp,injectors,huge cooler,plenum,cai,2/34 twin mandrel bent zorst.forgies,rods,big boost same as my vl when its finished.

same thing i thought. another part of the bold truth is i got it on a loan. so yeah i dont own it but i will and when i do in a few years it will be exactly right fingers crossed.

one of the team leaders at my work got a xr6t, goes ****in hard... he doesn't thrash it all day long and it's given him no trouble thus far. also, for those of you bragging about holdens, go read some handling comparisons between the ba and the vy/vz lol.

lol, I think CAPA do a kit now, or they will be doing a kit for the XR6t, I actually think it was them who broke the 1000hp
