Are ultra lows lower then super lows? CalaisVL- What are you going to do to fix it?

Yep the Ultras are definitely lower than the Supers. I rolled the guards, adjusted the panhard rod, cut a bit out of the rear bumper in the guard where it was rubbing and it still scraped (on passenger side). I adjusted the panhard rod about 1mm to prevent scraping on the passenger side and it then rubbed constantly on the drivers side! The offset of my wheels is just too big so I am looking at getting a new set of wheels with smaller offset. That'll be later on when I can afford it though Until then, the ultra lows will sit in the garage me thinks. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

This was my car on Super Lows and 17"s with 235 tyres It was ok till i put a passenger in the back, scrapes the sidewall of the tyre in side the guard. I have a little bit of gear in the boot, but it doesnt change the height that much. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

guys, it changes from one spring company to another. say, king superlows will be different to kmac superlows, you need to measure these things. I have whiteline springs in mine 2" (50mm) "superlow" lower , and they scrape evry now and then on big bumps, (235/45/17), but i know a guy with 3.5" lower springs in his VL with no problems at all, so it changes from car to car and between different spring/shock manufacturers.

More a problem with the rear tyres. The front aren't so bad, unless you hit a pothole or a dip in the bitumen while turning . Might get a bit of a chunk taken out of the tyre or have the guard actually pull out from the car body, my passenger front guard did this. I will be at the commodore cruise on the 20th, come and take a look if u want. mine is the wagon with the vx clubbies on it. weird bluey/green colour. look a few posts up and you can see it.
