guys, any cars can come along, NA, V8 whatever, as long as they dont outnumber the VLT's .
Troy - there was a VLT wagon for sale here today had plates WGN-30T, looked ok, i only saw it driving past, buy that and you can come in style, otherwise i guess we'll let you tag along in the ute!
Cheers.

Calais Estate Cruz #2
Sunday September 12, 2004
Meeting Details:
Arrival Time: Between 10:30am and 11:00am
Place: Turner Park, Aberdare Rd Cessnock
Departure Time: 11:30am to arrive at Calais Estate before 12pm
Lunch: There are BBQ facilities available, so bring ya steak, sausages and whatever else turns you on, this way we dont have the worry with food like we did last time.
For those people who came last year, the meeting place is the same, other people may be able to follow you if you live in the same area.
If not, http://www.whereis.com.au/whereis/ma...les &x=71&y=9 (http://www.whereis.com.au/whereis/mapping/geocodeAddress.do?streetNumber=68&streetName=aberdare&poiType=&suburb=aberdare&state=New+South+Wales&x=71&y=9)
Check the link, zoom in and out as to where you come from, like this one http://www.whereis.com.au/whereis/ma...trePoint.y=155 (http://www.whereis.com.au/whereis/mapping/recentreMap.do?mapIndex=29&brand=1&recentrePoint.x=364&recentrePoint.y=155)
I will be handing out a couple of photocopied maps with our route plotted, so let me know early of the definates..
Mainly it doesnt matter what you drive, i would prefer VL related cars but Troy went and blew that, but i guess he has boost.lol. As 87calais said, its mainly a calais cruz, so we dont want to be outnumbered by ricys with big subwoofers.
remember to bring ya cameras, wash your car, have a full tank of fuel, or thereabouts at the meeting point, after we have lunch we can take some pics on the hill and head through the vineyards and out to the New England Highway and back into Newcastle.

Thanks again for organising the time to do this. Good date, i day before my 18th. Cans omeone clarrify is that in the school holidays?? As i said earlier is it ok if my mate comes in a VK. Not an 8. I got a bit of a drive from Wollongong it looks like, should be worth it.
Also anyone here going from down my way that knows the way up, so i don't have to try look at a map and drive at the same time

Make sure you buy some Calais estate wines to do the right thing by them.
I stayed up at a winery recently and visited Calais Estate and bought some of their wines. Love the Botrytis, nice dessert wine
Sydney guys should come up through Richmond and then turn off at Comleroy Rd and up through Colo to the Hunter Valley.
Beautiful windy roads and very picturesque too.
Then you might even see my 3 Calais' parked on the road somewhere along the way

If mine wasn't in the shed getting new front bumpers (f#cking kangaroo) i'd be there. 87Calais you should give Spiro a ring (the bloke that did your extractors) he'd prolly be up for it.
