As stated above PSI-03L now resides in darwin. Before the car was sent to darwin, the car was shipped to SAS for a detune of the timing mainly due to the intake temperatures that we aquire due to the bloody heat, and also to check the car to make sure that it was running fine. The car checked out perfect, and the final tune was a mild 308rwkw running 22 pounds of boost. Since arrival in darwin, the car has been re-tuned by JSM as it was running very rough on boost and there were problems with the wastegate opening/closing. PSI-03L is now running awesome, set at 22pound making 333rwkw with the new tune thanks to hours of remapping the SMC autronic unit as SAS could not provide the tune settings that they previously set for the car. (thanks guys) Future plans include fitment of a HKST04Z and finishing the cars boot and engine bay to be ready for 2008 Summernats. Well that is the goal, no doubt. With the current tune the car has major issues keeping traction, however with slicks we have calculated that the car will run 10's in darwin, and we hope to have that figure into the 9's after the T04Z is fitted. The gearbox has now been basically rebuilt for huge power, and the motor has been retuned again now running approx 500hp at 22 pound. (Better than when it came 2nd at the nats, running less boost and also having far greater intake temps....go jason) Previously, matt had troubles getting the car to run properly, now the problem is now trying to keep PSI in a straight line as the powerband and delivery of power is seriously off tap, breaking loose 90' to the kerb at 150+ km/h with no clutch and brand new tyres.
