That look pretty sick man! well done...alot different to the approach i'm taking but I like it.
Next step covering and sub fitting hey

thats like my boot! but! i got 2 15s and a gas tank and a ported plumbing job! the prob with that box mate is how do u get your spare out??? i have a box for each sub and their butted up together and u can take one out without 2 much trouble to get to te spare. i got some pics of someone wants to do some hosting.
Anarchy, next step is actually making a whole false floor.
BT1-FUN The spare will be no problem in getting out (or I might have no spare).
The next step is ready to be measured out...
phun - the course is 'Automotive Electrical Accessories'.
BT1-FUN - No they won't. It's legal to not have a spare... But if you have one and the tyre is unroadworthy then thats illegal, sounds stupid but true.
seeing all that bare mdf is making me itchy to create something for myself. I once spent hours making a box for 2 10" subs that sat on the raised bit of the boot behind the back seat, with a fitted CD holder that slid out from between the subs.. i loved that box...
btw my amp is mounted on the right side of the boot. I also made and carpeted a plastic cover so that it covers the amp and evens out the boot.... i kept my spare tyre

pics sent. u might be right about the spare, im not 100% sure but i allways thought and had been told its illegal not to have a spare. its also not very handy if u do get a blow out!
I am right about the spare, its funny when you hear about guys that get fined for having an unroadworthy spare... Just get rid of it or leave it at home, haha.

BT1-FUN and HybrdKiwi, thanks for the pics. My aim is to have a gas tank AND have some boot space with a big sound system... it's an interesting project and have it planned out, cant wait to see the finished product. Stage 1 is complete with making the sub box and stage 2 is to make the false floor of the boot.
