How about the weight of an AERO?
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
I guess I can't argue with that carcrazy, but the word on other forums is that the shootout mode produces higher numbers.
Either way, not bad numbers

If anyone still has a VL owners handbook, it states 165kw on rb30et. And how did my VL weigh in at 1207 kilo's ? okay it was missing a few spring coils, but no weight reduction was carried out.
something to think about. (SL sedan, n/a 6, with 5spd)
me.
still got the spare in the boot? I know it doesn't weigh much but still. pursuit rims? kinda strange but hey.. maybe the weight station was inaccurate

fuel, type/size of battery, rims, altitude at which it was weighed at, etc...... lots of variables.. so 50 odd kg isn't that far off when your talking 1200.
id like to see what rwkw mine does...
soon to be on one though for a tune so ill let you guys know...
Mods Include:
5spd manual fully rebuilt
Engine fully rebuilt 60000kms ago
Port and polished head including cam setup and springs
2.5" exhaust and genie extractors
8mm spark leads
chipped computer
hi-performance camshaft
cold air intake
Anyone take a guess?

being at a higher altitude makes you lighter, as your further away from the centre of the gravity, and the air is less dense etc... Not much difference but it would register.
I was just giving an example of allot of different factors could give differnt readings.
As i said before 50kg is not much when your talking about 1200kg. It's 1/24th of the value.
Yes it would make a difference down the strip but thats not what were talking about.
ummm... i dont think as you get higher, you get lighter! unless your talking about 'outerspace' high.
but like you said, the higher you go, the air becomes thinner (less dense). If anything, you would lose power becuase the air being taken into your engine is less dense, and hence combustion efficiency is compromised.
I had 102rwkw on LPG, and 104rwkw on petrol. I had extractors, 2.5in high flow exhuast, r31GTS cam + ecu.
The mechanic said that my injectors needed cleaning, and then i should be somewhere around 115rwkw as usually there is a 10-15kw different between petrol and lpg
my car made the following
98rwkw - Cold air, pacemakers, 2 1/2 inch mandral bent system. 5 speed. Engine was perfect but, running 18deg advanced timing if i remember rite.
then I did the following, Supercharged it, port n polished the head, and put a cam in.
now with the Supercharger turned OFF, I made 90 rwkw .. why lower then the reading above? coz the engine has to suck air thru the superhcagrer to get the air, which is like putting a sponge in ur intake..
with the supercharger turned on i made 120 rwkw on 3 psi with standard computer and injectors
if u ask me i reckon the biggest gains can be made from an NA rb30 is with an xf throttle body.. or a bigger TB of some sort.
