hey flwlss , not intentionally starting a fight here , but have u ever been in a shop and seen tests being carried out on 1 - the no. plate to the side , and 2 - the silly plastic shroud that hangs below the radiator. i am willing to bet my car (though it isnt anything special) that both these items , if "mounted" properly DO have an effect on air mass flow and cooling effeciency.

Sure, but really, who cares, it looks good on all VLs, if I put an intercooler on my car, I wouldnt put my plate to the side, fact is it looks good on most VLs, if it looks good, DO IT. So nyeah.

OVL087 : obviously they would have some effect, as theres not something infront of the item, but is there so much extra air flow as it being worth it ?

My theory is any idiot can drive a dump truck of cash into a trimmer and say give me something cool... this looks OK.
