Yeah i won't be giving them any reason out of the ordinary to pull me over this time. The trailer is great and everything is up to scratch, i'm hoping that no longer being a p plater will help as well... fingers crossed!

we're going down early as last year they were setting up in the rta weigh stations and making ppl unload tow trucks and then if plates or sticker was on , it was fair game for defects taking no chances.

At QLD power cruise cars were being defected on trailers. I find that to be ****en stupid, take your battery out, they going to get you for no lights working? Take it to court, say the car was being transported OFF the road ON a registered trailer to a storage place and the battery was removed so it didn't go flat.. No judge would say "ooh well... the car was registered, it needs lights when its parked in the shed" when i towed my car back from being painted.. could i have been defected for not having headlights? taillights? bumpers and so on? A car on a trailer going to a shop to get a new motor "Defective car, missing a motor"

Just say if I didn't clear it and I chose to go to QLD again, and got pulled over, I would get rooted. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'll be doing the big road trip from brisbane for next years summernats! Looking forward to it... Cops are gonna be cops either way... Defecting cars on trailors is dead set pathetic, I reckon the assault charge on the copper would be worth it if you worked him enough for doing it...

If you don't they send a nastygram to your home state who will kindly call you in to the pits and/or cancel your rego. Got done whilst living in Canberra in the late 90's and ignored it. I then got done for driving unregistered a few months later after my Qld rego had been kindly cancelled for me. Also has anyone else noticed that this thread was revived after over 4 goddam years.
