5spd Calais: the problem with centreforces is that if you have bags of torque at low revs, the weights havent had a chance to do their thing and it could start slipping, get hot, and it will have trouble gripping once its hot. A fella i know has some sort of centreforce setup, and it was fantastic with a lot of power (t04, cooler, etc), but once he put an autronic in and got a heap more low down power it started to slip. (i think this was just a centreforce kit - not as good as what JET-6's got)

I'm thinking you meant lengthening the arm that comes out of the bellhousing. Maybe you meant altering the pressure plate itself. Please clarify as I'm a bit slow this time of year. Its the pressure plate itself that they modify, the internal pivot point that the diaphram acts off is modified. Works well. Cheers

my clutch was $550, it is a 5 puk ceramic sprung centre plate, the pressure plate had the pivot point mod which gives around 1100kg clamping pressure. no idea what HP rating they give it, but should be similar to the above mentiones since its a similar clutch. I asked them for a clutch that could handle over 500fwhp
