i can see how maccos have anything to do with vl's, apart from how each owned at least one in your life time.

why stop at VL's?
why not just make a commodore club in general? would make the cruises a lot more fun, and there isn't a "real" club in sydney for commodore enthusiasts..

well there is no point in calling it "VL CLUB OF SYDNEY" if you plan on making it an all purpous club... who's going to even think if they are able to join if they don't have a VL?
"Sydney Commodore Club" would be more appropriate in that case..
no point in stickers etc if its just going to change
