that was ****ed.... i got 9 runs in before they called a wash out (9 runs from 5:40pm to 6:45pm when the washout was called). A range of results from 16.8 down to 16.5. No excuses - thats what its running atm... stally doesnt want to stall over 2400, and car was pinging its tits off up high (16.8 run, retarded timing to get a 16.5)... air filter was clogged (got a hole in my airbox and inner guard to the front tyre, but no pipe :roll: so it gets real wet and dirty in there)... also time for a service i spose... other than that - its back to the drawing board to see what i want to do with this slow POS i have... (anyone want to swap it for a calais turbo ??? lol)

Mark I saw ya out there.. heard u go hectic with a skid, but wasn't there long enough to see any of your runs. There was a cool vl out there with the plates 51KVL its an all yellow bt1 turbo with vr clubspots and a really nice custom interior with yellow turbo badges embroided into the tops of all the seats.. was schmick. I was lucky enough to see him hang one fully sik drift on the way out aswell as the ute behind him spin out into a wild 360.. 51OVL was also out there.. but didnt wanna buy a sticker off me.. Hey mark... do u know if they'll let you in on saturday for free or somethin, cause from when i got in to when i left because of the washout i didnt even get to see any cars go down the 1/4.. and im kinda pissed that it cost me 14 buks. ? might pump up the tyres (front left was kinda flat), remove all that extra weight in the back (spare tyre, tools, jack, etc), take out the stereo and speakers that are just sitting in there not wired up.. go on a diet and take a dump before i race... take the back seat out... get new spark plugs that arnt 20,000 kms old, new oil, new oil filter, new air filter, cold air intake piping.. get the gearbox serviced and see if the times will drop... grrrz... not happy jan !!! might see if i can get a stally that WILL stall up to 3000 too... :roll: i spend too much on this thing... just about everythings new on it, and i cant be stuffed buying an ecu for it (which is what it really needs)... enough ranting now...

nah.. cant get any tickets for the weekend... sorry.. that VL Wagon with the plates *** 88 took off like a ****ing rocket - fish tailed it all the way up the 1/4 mile, with an 11.4 sec pass !!! unreal !! i was pissed off about the times, let the car do what it could do good, and that was skids.. was tempted to keep em going, but my rear right tyre was near the tread indicator before i got to willowbank today... it'll be out at the cruise - and i want somewhere to smoke the rears (on *cough* private property or at a track *cough* *wink*).. well.. rear as the LSD is playing up and still ****ed... :roll:

Manifold and turbo --> Cheap off Andy Decent Intercooler Decent Tune Stock boost There are turbo cars running 9.0:1 compression stock, no reason why you couldnt successfully run your current engine with a turbo on it.
