After looking at the map and attempting to print it on A3, it was too bloody small. I have two options, i can run it out of the plan printer at like $3.00 a page (a bit expensive) or i can break it up over a few pages. What i will do is have a look at spliting it up over pages & then just make like a mini refidex for everyone. Ollie mate, how man do you reckon i'll need to print?? i was guessing around 30.

Well, I know where we're going so I wont need a map... 30 maps would require 30 cars.. and I dont think theres been over 15 cars per cruise?? Correct me if I'm wrong..

I was thinking 30 cars would require 30 maps rather than the other way round but anyway this cruise is suposed to be the biggest yet so here's hoping. And while i've seen the map and got a rough idea, its always handy to have everything there.

i know the place pretty well , but ill get a map , if i get lost ill just go to the grandparents house n camp there. ill do all the capture and encoding etc of dvds , our dvd burner is on order so i cant do them yet , unless u just wanna watch them on ur computer then i can burn dvds. what setup have u bought urself rob? sounds pretty flash

Mate the machine here is just a P4 1.7gig with capture stuff and half a gig of ram. The machine i'll be doing the DVD work on is a top shelf Apple G4 setup to burn professional glass master DVD's. Anyway i'm working on the maps now and i'll try and print em tomorrow. Did you wanna meet up some time before the cruise Ollie and i can leave em with you or just bring em on the day?

Heheh.. told ya it was a BIG map... bloody took me a few hours to make that too... for those who want to know.. there are exactly 100 maps from whereis.com.au pasted end to end covering the roads we will be taking on the cruise.. This will be the last post here for me. I've enjoyed the site and learnt alot from all you guys. I've had alot of fun from all the cruises and met alot of great people. Hey Guys, I should be there, i'm gonna be alone in the car so if anyone needs a ride, let me know. I was thinking of bringing the video camera but have nobody to film... do we have any budding camera men or women out there?? Anyway it should be a good cruise, it'll be plenty of fun.
