Hey Guys, Just got back from a few runs out at Willowbank... Of the two runs i did, the better of the times was 16.18 Considering i raced the car in exactly the same state as it was when i drove it to work on Friday its ok. The thing is stock as a rock apart from a Cat Back system.. which makes bugger all difference anyway. Also when you consider thats only the second time i've ever raced.... ET Card is below: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No offence, but were you asleep at the start line? What reaction time. My missus was going to buy one, but got a better dea onl a VP Calais. NIce car man. I'm sure you'll enjoy that refinement in no time. BTW I used to travel from Lithgow in NSW to Melbourne once a month, about an 850km trip, I used to get about 800 k's to the tank. I never could make it. I used to sit on 110kmh too. turn the boost down, and off I'd go. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You are so right there Prophesy... The VL used to shake like ****... to the point where i packed everthing plastic out with foam and it still shook. Ya crank the stereo in the VS and nothing at all rattles... and it sounds better.

Just sold my beloved VL and brouht a VS too, the only difference is that mines a true blue Holden though, tsk tsk, just kidding. You would think Lexens would hold better resail value as they are made by Toyota and i dare say that Toyota seem to hold together better than your average Holden.

HAHAHAHA Mate go check out the general section and see how it held together. What was a Lexcen will now be undergoing a Holden conversion. The damm thing needs a bit of work but all in all, she'll do ok out of it sporting VR Head Lights, a VS Bumper, and new icy cold air con. Anyway Congrats on buying the VS, you'll love it.

Yeah the VS's naturally use just a tad more fuel. I thought even with the Ecotec engine it would be that little bit better but i was wrong.

My VS hasn't been too bad so far can get around over 500km to a tank, mostly driving in highway conditions (but also giving it some juice now and then!). I would have to drive like your grandma to get over 500km to a tank in the VL!

Holden V6's are far, far more economical than VL's just like the last guy said. The VS is the most economical of them to date but even the VN gave awesome fuel economy.....up to 800kms or more on a trip out of the standard 63 litre tank.

I'm yet to see it being better than the VL... i find it uses roughly the same, but when pushed hard, the VS will drink quicker than the VL.
