I had to say bye to my baby yesterday ops:
Well i will call my friend and try and make him take us.. i will see you all if i see you

This will probably be the last message before we all meet up but just letting you know that i will be bringing my digital video camera and also my digital still photo camera.
I'm also bringing 2 of my other wheels for burnout rims if anyone wants to use them. I'll have the trolley jack there so we can change them pretty quickly.
At this stage, the weather is not looking promising...however, I am noticing some patches of blue around.
We'll have to see whether I make it down there or not.
Yeah its not looking great....
Mike was saying this morning it was pissing down up there.
There was a light shower a second ago here and i'm half an hour to Ipswich...
Yo werd up all my sad homie's
today is gay.
BUT, i see blue sky emerging, and i'm about to get in contact with the weather beaurau (spelling?) and i'll post results in 10 minutes
cheers
Jay

Im only about 15mins away from Willowbank and the weather is starting to clear up fairly well here, so at this stage i would say that they will have racing. I'll be at KFC at about 3:30ish. So i'll see u there.

The best time was 14.6 by luke in his turbo calais. I was the only V8 and got down to a 15.16 by the time i left and i think jay was the best six with a 16.08, although i was'mt there till the end. All up there were two turbos running, me in the eight and 3 six's.
I think that there were 8 cars in total that showed up at KFC. The fastest Vl there on the night was a white turbo which ran a 12.08, which was the last run i saw it have cos i left at around 9.
All up it was a pretty good night, cos i bettered my best time by 0.4 seconds.
Hope to see more people at the next one, whenever it is.
Dale
just put some photos in general discussion area
think most had a great night, especially jay!,
Im wishing I had the money for an LSD right now:
first time of 14.6 was without stalling up the trans, so it was a pretty pedestrian take off,
second was same time but took off with too much one-wheel-spin,
was happy with speed of 100mph though all things considered.
i'll be there for the next one if its at least 4 weeks away. just had surgery on my collar bone... it hurts to drive. (i'll be sticking to 4 wheels now...) my names Ben by the way. my VL berlina isn't a beast or anything, i just wanna see what it'll do. its got the resonator removed, lowered, 15s, and probably cold air intake by then. well, nice to meet u all anyway...
p.s. i'll try and get a couple of friends to come too. one has a VS hsv enhanced 5 litre which i'm curious to see what it does on the strip. another who probably won't be there has a VH 308 that ran a 10.66 @ 127mph last trip down.
