The audiogalaxy review of the album it came off-

I bet if you put this record on your CD rack between Limp Bizkit's Significant Other and whatever that f**king lame Godsmack CD is, they'd both BURST INTO FLAMES. If you want to be rocked, maybe rocked until you're DEAD, buy Crowned in Terror. And if you don't, you're a pussy."
Thats it OldGold, ICP are weired ass pruicks, but their older stuff is funny as, Piggy pie and willy bubba hahaha funny ****. Cant say im into Rap like midz, each to their own i guess. dude, listen to Death (best metal band in my opinion) or for ultimate heavy, Cryptopsy are great. Nile are cool for technical core, but Suffocation are wicked too.

05-09-02, 18:29 GMT+10#44 yeah crytopsy are pretty cool - nile is godamn intense ****, blew me away. They have a new album out i think. Ever heard Bal Sagoth? I only know one other person that has, i think its that that moved me off nu metal for now. Dark Tranquility are pretty sick just cos I aint ever heard death metal and acoustic guitars together. I duno if I'll ever get used to cradle of filth tho - they just plain piss me off.
i recently moved into death/heavy/grindcore stuff, nu-metal gets tiring after a while, im still discovring all this new and cool stuff, its like a whole new world and when i say nu metal I dont mean poo**** like limp bizkit stinkin park korn etc more mudvayne, rammstein, soulfly, fearfactory machinehead etc... if its top 40 - it's ****. Even if its good.

Sorry dude, never heard of Bal Sagoth. If you're ever after metal suggestions though, i used to be into it in a BIG way...do you like Power or Symphonic power metal? Like the long hair leather wearing bands that sing about knights and wars and ****...i loved it..
There's a black metal band called "After, Forever" (i think) who are pretty insane. Opeth have kind of black metal bits with accoustic bits..
Dimmu Borgir are better than COF. I dont really like either band, but yeah...Listen to Athiest for technical death metal..
Control Denied was the band Chuck Schuldiner (death) was working on before he died. Very cool.
If you want to try some Power and Symphonic Power metal, get Blind Guardian's "Nightfall in Middle-Earth"....the guy has a crazy vocal range...
Also Sonata Arctica (but they sound kinda 80ish but i liked them) and Nightwish (female singer who is operatically trained), wicked...
Might not be your cup of tea, but hope ive suggested some stuff you havent heard.

nah I aint heard of most of them I'll be sure to check em out, like I say it's a whole new world out there I can't get enough of it ATM but Im sure i'll get sick of it eventually - or my ears will start bleedin

06-09-02, 00:09 GMT+10#47 I listen to anything really, i do a bit of DJing, so i get used to listening to everything.. in my car, there are cds ranging from Metal, to Rap, Dance etc....
i dont know why you are all whinging about each others choice of music, some people like rap, some like metal, some like dance, some, maybe even country (maybe i went a bit far there....).. but who cares really? anyone can listen to anything they want, without being flamed by someone who doesnt like that type of music...

man all you rap freaks
what is wrong with you people how can you listen to that its just someone talking to a beat - all they sing about is how good they are and how much illeagal stuff they do

experience those four on stage and witness their unity as a band and u'll see why

10-09-02, 04:56 GMT+10#49 mmm i Dont have a problem with rap as a genre I was stirrin ****
I do have a problem with that gangsta rap **** - its embarrasin to black people. Martin luther king, malcon X etc gave their loves so people would accept black people and these rappa guys are trying to create somekind of black "nigga" stereotype that is just plain degrading
Eminem is a stuck up nobface but that new one, "momma' or something is pretty good when you listen to the words. Its actually about something, not just how cool he is and how much he hates Moby and Limp Bizkit.

27-09-02, 18:28 GMT+10#50 Don't anyone here listen to hard techno. U know like Wet Musik, Dave Clarke, Ade Fenton, Ben Long, Bissmire, Ben Sims, Technasia. Also starting to like a bit of tech-house.
No offence but trance sux, They all have the same pattern, start hard, followed by high pitch sounds(ie whistles), then a small break, then the drumbeat slowly starts and gets quicker and quicker, followed by high pitch sounds again.
Hard NRG music is even worse
Thats my whinge for the day

I think it's Wet Musik 4 (the one with the jungle beats for the first few songs) that hypnotised me and nearly put me to sleep, so I dont listen to it much, and wouldnt want to listen to it in the car... :?

hahahaha, thats exactly right, except that you have to make the song seem like it is going to end at least 2-3 times b4 it actually does.
(does that make sense????)

30-09-02, 17:06 GMT+10#53 HaHa that makes complete sense. You gotta love those nine-minute-here-we-go-again-lets-all-fall-asleep trance songs( note sarcasm).
Now does that make sense?
