Got a big intercooler, front facing plenum and a 2.5 inch exhaust. The guys that tuned and dynoed it were stoked with the power they got out of it. You got the same diff ratio? 3.45 isn't it?

Hey guys got a prob with my little corolla daily driver, went to start it last Thurs (morning), battery was pretty much dead (even the dash lights were dim), so I put the battery on charge overnight. put it back in on friday, started fine. left it for the weekend (as I went away with some mates), came back on Sunday night and it was completely dead again, this time so dead that not even the dash lights came on. (read about 0.5 volts). So I charged it again last night for about 5 hours, took it off the charger and measured 13.8ish volts across it. then i left the battery overnight (not hooked up to anything), and this morning i measured it and it was around 12.5volts - is that sort of drop normal? chucked it in the car and it started fine, but there must be something thats causing it to drain so quickly overnight? I'm guessing it might possibly be the battery, but I don't think so because it drains completely if i leave it hooked up in the car overnight, whereas if i leave it unhooked then it holds its charge ok. Just wondering what sort of things would cause it to drain so quickly? It isn't the headlights, not the ACC (you can pull the key out in any position so I thought that maybe I had left the ACC on, but wasn't that), my interior light is switched off. Just kinda annoying coz everytime I leave the car I have to disconnect the battery haha. cheers guys and girls

could it be the battery itself?? how old or new is it?? other than that somethings slowly draining it. best thing to do is check everything if you run out of ideas of what it is LOL Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yea dunno how old it is, was in the car when I bought it a year ago. its annoying coz now I have to spend time on that instead of my VL (again), Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You got any photos of your car? you going powercruise? And yea think that the ratio it got just standard auto gear ratio.

quick question, my mate brought a car n the guy gave him the original dash which has 250,000 however the dash installed in the car has 350,000, dash was changed as the speedo stopped working, car has alreaddy been transferd into my mates name etc etc, i had a look at the original dash and i was able to fix it, we put it in his car and it all works sweet... Is there anything wrong with doing this, ie if he sells the car, the original papaers will have a different dash reading to the new ones?

i dont see any problem this has as long as you let someone know what you guys have done. its a genuine reason why you guys have done it. just my 2 cents.

Went thru the main fuses in the engine bay, pulled out radio one and it dropped to 1.03 Amps (which sounds about right - for the radio/clock memory?). Then pulled out a fuse (a 7.5Amp one) which was just called 'Charge', and the current dropped to 0.6 Amps. Anyone know what this fuse is for and why it's using power when car is off? One other thing, even with everything off, when I hook up the battery, I hear a relay switching - the one that i hear is a big sucker, seperate from the rest and bolted to the strut tower, I guess its for the starter? but is it supposed to click when I connect the battery? (with ignition key switched off)? any help is much appreciated, thanks guys
