And as above the more traction the more smoke,AND the harder it is on your drive gear. But if you go too wider tryes you will have less traction,Becouse your weight is spread over a wider area,so that will give you less traction as well,Just think of your car sitting on four tooth picks,There is a lot of weight on those four. Now put your car on huge 295's,That weight is now spread over a larger surface,And will slide easiey(think wet road)The trick is to find the ideal contact area. That and the correct down force by the bump and rebound from your shocks and not forgetting your springs will get you the best traction.Becouse remembering as you take off weight is transfered to your rear end.It is not easy to get it right first time,But there are a lot of people that can steer you in the right direction,As every car is different, ride hieght, tryes, power, bush's etc. Cheers Marty Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

According to most write ups,The 2 litre against the 3 litre were almost the same in top speed,The 2 was just abit slower getting there. But not by much.

With the 2L's 4.11 diff I imagine it would have been pretty close to the 3L in top speed Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
