wow wow wow calm down i wasnt say you were bragging trent or that any dyno reading that are posted up are wrong or anything of that nature i was just saying in general i reakon compareing dyno readouts to see who has a faster or more power car is crap thats all i ment. i think yours sounds right on the money trent and i think that standard vl is right on the money too for standard everything. but yeah no one on here but i have a few people i am friends with and they seem to get very caught up with dyno readouts once again no one on here!!, and they seem to forget how much variation there is in different dynos, different brands of dyno, cars differeneces in genral, auto vs manaual, auto vs auto with big stally, factor like tyre pressure and all those klittle things that skew readings. and overall how dyno readings change from person to person as they get passed on. i got told the other day that my car has less torque than a dude i knows car and i said how do u know that seen as you have never been in or really seen my car, not to mention i have never had a torque readout ever! lol anyways sorry if it came out the wrong way trent didnt mean it like that

i didnt mean to sound "over the top or ****ty" thats the gay thing about typing on here, it all comes out wrong. and i know what your saying, i know about how much variations a dyno can pull, guarantee if i went down the coast id pick up another 1-5rwkw at least as even sea level comes into it lol. that dyno reading was from rajab in melb, so if i throw it onto jakes dyno it will most likely come out different too, i dont really care what it makes i just thought it was cool to have a dyno sheet for once you know i use and build my cars for one purpose, me to enjoy them and do skids lol

yeah man i know ay its cool, it wasn't at all aimed at you, i was just saying it cause alot of people i talk to lately (not on here) seem ever so wound up in dyno readings and it was giving me the ****s. And i saw how duke57tt said he felt the same way that dyno readings arnt all that import in camparing cars i just thought i would add that i also feel the same way it was nothing to do with the readouts posted previously.

thats like merlin with the rb20 vl turbo auto kept on about his 170kw or whatever he made and that his would destroy my old car and that his did such good skids when he couldnt even get it to smoke up on a 15 and yet my slapped up n/a convert had more torque than him and did far larger burnouts on 18s n i told him that his dyno sheet doesnt mean **** all and everyone else saw the 2 cars and knew that i didnt care how much power his car had or wether his performed better just the fact i wanted to do skids so i did them lol

yeah man thats exactly what i mean trent!!! people like that that hide behind dyno readings that sort of talk gives me the ****s. personally i feel doin up a car should be something you do to enjoy yourself. i dont think it should be a competition which is quite common in groups which modify cars as friends etc. i like crusing and hanging in groups where theres no competion between anyone no hirachi just mates doin it for fun. like for example say trent put his silver car all together got it all running made some really good power and we went to the drags and he got an 11 i got a 12 i wouldn't care i would be happy for him. cause hes put alot of cash etc into that car aswell and good for him. thats how it should be.

funny you should mention the plenum as i acctually have almost finished another one i have been working on for a while lol. but i did it cause thats what had always said i wanted to do after to c4c as if i started b4 i wouldnt have got it done (not cause that dude said **** although that did piss me off) but yeah thanks i really get over it when people keep telling me to put wheels on it. to be honest makes me wanna make it even more stocky looking lol. to be honest i think i would drive my car alot more if i was happy with where it was but the big factor is i got threated by some dude with a knife whilst in it a while ago when he tried to overtake me through a round about before the form one lane and i gassed it, he wanted me to get oout of the car so he could kill me and he had a massive knife and his hand and was about twice my size (not that thats hard lol i weigh 60kgs lol) but yeah ever since i get very axious when it comes to driving it to the point where i wont even take it to the servo ill use a jerry can and fill it up at home. and yeah thats pritty much killed cruising in my vl lol.

Stock looking FTW!!!!!!!!!!! BT1 Grandpa Spec is where its at. I don't like sydney spec at all, but I can appreciate how much those knobs spend on their AME's etc to look like queers. Hey Trent. LOL. Just think spend 5K on rims or 5K on 6boost & 35/40 setup + and ECU. Oh and don't worry about anyone man come cruising with us.

i can still definately appriciate a nice looking vl but yeah i just would rather spend my money on performance gear at the moment, but when i was 17 i used to spend all my money on crap like wheels calais front and all thing to make my car look nice but i got over it and wanted something a little different. yeah that sounds goood i am planning on organising a sunday daytime cruise soon i just got get my car back together and tuned and im hell keen. been a few with a couple of mates and its awsome so chillaxed and nice photos and a few skids lol and fun in the grass but yeah we went a fair way out to the middel of nowhere for a drive / photos it was awsome. ill let all you guys know when im planning on doin it again/ when my cars goin lol
