Wouldnt mind it sitting that low, but bumper wouldnt last 5 minutes.
When it sits normally shes on Dolbi lows.

she does still exist. This wagon was a 'quick' build it will taper off once V8 is in after after power cruise, just be a nice daily then..."insert Tui add here"
i will get back into the VLT in between doing Danny's wagon also.
Still collecting parts when i can and thinking up more ideas of what to do with her.

05-10-12, 05:35 GMT+10#71 Havnt done alot more on the wagon other than cleaning up parts to go in her shortly, also bought a MOMO wheel that is the same as what VK Group A had from HDT, just need to get horn button and outter ring.
V8 is booked to go in next weekend, taken couple days off work to help Danny out with converstion, cant wait.

05-10-12, 06:32 GMT+10#72 Mate looks awesome. I really like the red walls on this car, helps build the theme of the car
Just one question, why the Dobi's? I've only ever had one set of Dobi's (not in a Commodore) and they lasted 3 weeks in my car. I got so pissed off with the ride and handling I went to see Edgar for a Koni/King coilover special. Makes it twice as bad when knowing where you work!

Thanks Alex, i like em, but keeping them from getting scuffed on the inner guards is proving a nightmare, red wall keeps getting rubbed and disappearing quick.
the springs were in the car when i bought it, have no intension of keeping them in there, plus once V8 is in there the front springs have to be changed.
Ive stuck a deal with Russell here at work, coil overs in the front are getting made now....for a box of beer! beat that for price eh.
the rears we were going to do a set up same as the race cars use, springs stay in current location with wind down set up and shortened koni shocks.
all up should cost me $350 for parts, plus few boxes of piss.
just need to sort ride height issues and inner guard scrape.
sell the old springs and shocks as they are pretty new,cost....bugger all hehe

05-10-12, 07:04 GMT+10#75 Sounds like a perfect deal to me! Once you have a decent setup you might find the scrubbing is reduced. What springs are you using up front? I had 650lb king pro sport in my VL and they were about right IMO

05-10-12, 07:14 GMT+10#76 no idea at the moment as Russell reeled off few options.
Your right with the scrubbing issues, hopefully they will tuck nice and if we set up the droop nice they wont move bugger all, handle like its on rails too.
Doubt ill get them done in time for power cruise to see how they handle on track but theres the Hampton Down friday nights ill try it out then.
Get them in so they can be certed at same time as the engine etc though.

thanks Richard.
They are all Super Pro, which we sell at work (STOCKS)
the front Z bar bush was worst to do, took a bit of thinking of how to get it out and new one in as we couldnt use the press. Dont think any one ever does them, not sure what difference it will make.
As for tittie calender, if your all good boys, Santa might post one out to you.
Otherwise $10 to become a member on here and you get to see a lot of flesh in members section....not man flesh!!
