That's a pretty cool location for the coils, how common is it? Fk'n way neater than having them anywhere else in the bay that's for sure!

That acl heat shield is awesome, not sure how much it will save the fuse box, I put mine where the glove box should be. Ive got the oil lines running along the top of the chassis rail in mine and that heat shield does the job of protecting them fine, also Mo, ditch the beanie for the turbo and just make up a good heat shield from the ACL stuff, I destroyed 2 beanies, one caught fire, lol, fire proof my arse.

i just realised i havent posted in this thread yet. big fan, tbh im just waiting to come watch this. be super keen to run against you, who knows if i get big enough balls i might think about putting some race fuel in myself to give you a run (you will win). 10.6 is the WA manual record. shane is a big guy, like 6'+ your skinny lebness should save you ATLEAST 0.1 seconds!

What's the "ACL" stuff? Is it that metallic fabric stuff? My waste gate is raping my bonnet liner! Need to cover the hole and fix it ASAP!

OH IS IT NOW? Might want to get that sorted out......... ACL stuff is just metal shielding or whatever - seen the heat shielding on XR6T's, over the top of the manifold? - That's it. It's just a sheet and can cut it up, bend a bit etc. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
