28-06-11, 22:07 GMT+10#70 Bit of an update, the SSV's r done and tyres back on, i like em, they look a lot better in the sun
also got the top end of the motor apart to fit the ARP head studs, cometic, valve springs and cam gears.
anyone wondering why the motors on the ground is because it fell over off the engine stand lol broke the snout off the water pump, scratched the tappet cover and broke a piece off the coil cover, everything else seems to be ok.
looks like the 2 speed will be finished by thursday and the converter got started on today, as soon as i get the box back the motor n box will be fitted to the car, before mid next by the look of it

30-06-11, 21:09 GMT+10#78 Haha thanks Whitey, can't wait to feel that torque hey if I couldn't do the things i can still do when it comes to working on cars I don't think I'd be here still
Yeah was the perfect day to paint ey, took 3 days though to wait for the right one lol
Thanks 2rismo, I think i got the colour spot on, looks better in person
Nah not proboost, it came from those guys overseas, the ones who look like they are always squinting
Should rip.
Also today I pulled out the passenger seat to weld up the bracket as a mate sat in it at the wrong angle or something and it broke, welded it, sanded it and painted it to stop rust
Then while the seat was out it was the perfect time to run the power cable to the starter.
