This is going to be one nice VL. Wish I had the funds to do similar with my 5L, but it'll just have to sit a bit longer. I had a dream once about fitting an LS3 into the Calais, was all done and just as I was turning the key to kick it over the bloody alarm clock went off, lol. Staying original with mine, just a few tweaks on the donk when it gets rebuilt. It'll be a cruiser, but with some decent poke when I want. Keen to see your final result when it's finally done.

haha yeah i would rather a vl but i cant find any good series 2 calais at a decent price and have no rust....

normally $900 but i got them off my mates car he crashed, only did 500kms and wrapped it around a pole
