Mickyyyy, The Cleveland Bellhousing will work with a simple Adaptor but not the Windsor. The Windsor will require a more intricate unit similar to the Factory 2J to Powerglide.

Windsor runs a 157 Teeth Flexplate Cleveland runs a larger diameter Flexplate with 164 teeth. The Starter motor position is slightly different. Bellhousing wise, the Cleveland bolts to the Transmission Case where the Windsor uses the Pump Bolts. Do a search for A340 to Powerglide Adaptors.

Never said a word about BMS, their reputation, the gearbox's ability or anything else fanciful you have over exagerated, I simply said the cost is overpriced. Considering I can buy a 2500hp Keith Neil glide including bellhousing and billet bolt together Coan converter for LESS than the cost of this box alone, filled with 90% factory components, I think my statement is "fair" and not "lame". But as stated, everyone is entitled to their own opinion hey, I just don't go calling people lame for theirs Hey Paul, when you releasing an RE4 4wd box and whats the cost going to be? 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Whiter33, Get the stagea with the VQ35 engine and the auto trans version already comes with the larger RE4R03A Transmission. From there its a relatively simple (and inexpensive) prodecure to lift the power level. Kyle, Already have a couple of RE4R03A behind AWD's. None have hit the Road yet. We have had the 1a to 3A Conversion Shafts, Billet Servo Sets and Valve Bodies available for some time. We tested the RE4R03A Valve Bodies in serveral cars inc BOOSTN when they went down that track. No 2nd Gear issues to date. Rigoli also use my Valve Bodies in their 8 sec Subaru's. The Subaru and RE4 series of Valve Bodies are interchangeable with Minor Mods so we have had lots of testing. Max HP RE4R03A AWD to suit RB30 around $5500.00

Half the price.. Do you do manuals by any chance?

I have enough troubles with the Autos so why add more pain. Manual Gear sets are labour and material expensive. Unless there is a large (1000's) demand for product, manual upgrades will always be expensive.

I know.. I am pretty much stuck with 2 shops in Aus that will do a serious T56. One won't do dog gears for me and PPG won't get change out of 15K to do it. Maybe I need to glide it up. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

408ci LSX with a pair of precision Billets 6567's, 6boost manifolds (I bought them on Girch) etc etc.. I guess it will turn 140-160lb/min worth of air. Actually I think a t400 is pretty close in length and same spline arrangement as a T56.. mayeb an option.

Assuming a 3200+pds car, for the best 1/4mile times a Glide will work best. Turbos like engine load and the 1.80:1 1st gear ratio will work for you.

Yeah the car will basically be full weight VX Commodore.. so whatever the heaps of **** weigh. 3800lbs I think. I'll stick with the manual until I break it or just can't go faster.

One way of trying to save the gear set is to run a sacrificial (soft) clutch. Also slightly pedalling the engine during gear changes can work.

Well I have a tripple plate Textralia which I have never driven before, however I have heard they are a bit digital. I have a lingenfelter 2-step which is gearshift pressure activated so hopefully once it is setup right it will kill the ignition as I start to make the shift.. if it doesn't work I have a clutch switch to try as well. Hopefully keep the synchros and gears alivelong enough to run 9 something.
