How will your choice of wheels affect the rev limiter
Both sets of wheels look good. Calais wheels for that original / sleeper look.

As long as You have the correct tyre size, Your speedo will be the same. Shift points are determined by engine load (manifold vacuum vs engine speed). Rev limiter will be the same no matter what, as it is set to engine speed. The only thing that would change is the speed at which the vehicle is moving when the rev limiter comes in but, that depends on tyre size and if You weren't having serious scrubbing issues, that speed would be very close anyway.
The 15 inch tyre with the taller sidewall is always going to give a smoother ride as there is more tyre to absorb bumps in the road.
Cheers, Locky.

Manual valve body for sure, don't want the auto down shifting gears on the kick down while hitting that much boost. Tell me, are you running the 3200 rpm stall converter with the factory rev limit?

With a manual valve body, it wont change gears until You move the shifter.. The over drive button will be exactly that - to turn over drive on or off only.

Yes, l am running the 3200 stall with factory rev limit for the time being until l get a tune in couple of weeks.
The car is now parked in the garage until l don't get a tune.
With the manual valve body, does the overdrive button still come into play? E.g. If l'm driving in 2nd, 3rd or any gear and activate the pwr button will it still hold revs for longer when changing gears?
thanks
Ok, I think get the rev limiter removed or changed to suit a stall that big. The most likely issue your having, as you described your rev range is pretty short?3200 -5500rpm?
A Jatco is built with three gears and has an over drive as the 4th gear ratio. With the manual body you must drive the car through the 1st, 2nd, 3rd with the "power on / overdrive off", or you will unnessessary strain on the box and over drive system. Once your in the upper limit of 3rd gear change to 4th by turning on the overdrive, for highway driving. Otherwise over drive always on.
