i doubt you'll be able to turbo it though, you're not allowed to have any modifications, so its an orig one or nothing. thanks for volunteering luvmtl, let us all know how it goes.

I'm looking to buy a VS calais supercharged.. Would that be "legal" under these new laws, or would they just throw my application in the bin because it's a 3.8L, apparently too big to me efficient..? just more bull**** if you ask me...

i had a chat to someone i know very well at the rta, the reason the 125kw p/tonne law was changed was becuase it was too hard to police...in saying that if they change the laws again, sleepers are you new best friend

i spotted this FORD FALCON XR6 TURBO BA 4D SEDAN 6 3984 cc TURBO Multi 5 speed Manual only says sedan manual wonder if that means you could get approved for an auto? or a ute? lol i doubt it though. as all xr6 turbo's are over the power to weight already looked into that cause i got my P's in 06. but i moved to act and lost all my restrictions, now back in vic and have not yet had a chance to change back to vic, thinking i might just wait till i get my fulls seeming as that should be this year. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

okay.. called vicroads just now. got put on hold for about half an hour and finally got through to somebody with half a f*cking clue. she said that as long as its under the kW rating, you should be fine in applying for a permit. so hopefully, we shuold be able to finally drive what we want.. or at least at some sort of compromise lol UPDATE.. i'm going into vicroads this afternoon and putting in my application for a VS supercharged WITHOUT vehicle owner details...i'll let u's kno how it goes.
