Did a bit of work today, The paint burnt off the cheap-ass Coby Extractors in nothing flat, so i pulled them out and gave them a paint in a proper heat resistant paint. Also painted a spare rocker cover red with lots of clear coat and smoothed my oil filler cap. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Looks great Steve, mint engine bay! What condition would you say that engine is in? That black staining is okay? (Stupid, however genuine question!)

Its quite tanned, but there is very little in the way of deposits, just some starting to form around the bottom of bolt heads and on top of the rocker gear, it doesn't rattle at all, even when left for days. Its in good shape. uses no oil between its 5000km oil changes.

How do the extractors go when compared to the standard exhaust?

Quote: Looks great Steve, but a Red Rocker Cover on an NA Unfortunately the number of bright colours that work with the grey and black is limited. plus it matches my brake calipers and I plan a red pin stripe as per SV88 Quote: How do the extractors go when compared to the standard exhaust? Makes it a touch noisier (not a bad thing), but I noticed a huge difference over 4000rpm, it used to struggle now it just pulls all the way to 5500.

Looks great Steve. You re-sprayed the whole car? Did you spray the bumpers and plastic mouldings grey? I ask because mine is the same as yours except it is silver bumpers etc. Any more plans for the car?

The sides were MX Grey ex-factory, same as Berlinas. I colour coded them, was going to go Silver but decided to go for a different look. We did everything except the roof, the paint was pretty good on it but I had to compensate for some lazy paint matching (not by me). The roof was done before I got it (in the wrong colour too but it happens to match the paint I had made up, go figure) Also Converted it to Manual over new years. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
