What are the regs for QLD as far as mods go? I've hears you can have upgraded turbos, manifolds, ecus etc and the only thing you can't have is bovs and screamers, is this true? Trying to decide which state to rego my car in as I will be living in mermaid beach for six months a year as of jan 4th and newcastle the other 6months. Brad

Aftermarket ECU = Illegal unless you can prove that the tune in it is locked (ie, unmodifiable) and still meets emisions. BOV's = Illegal only if its vented. Screamers = Illegal full stop. Upgraded Turbo's / Manifolds / Intakes / Intercoolers = Legal if complied. Thats to the letter of the law - however, most things that cops look for will be atmo vented bovs, screamers, too loud, too low, that sort of stuff.
