today was pretty damn good, i enjoyed myself so much. i spent all day looking for GMH88 only to realise on my way home that he was taking a ute, not his vl, ah well. there was enough vl's there to keep me entertained. i used up all my m8's memory cards in his camera taking pics of them. my brother scored a mafless tune and some royal purple oil at the auction for his statesman so he was stoked and he also got to have a run down the quarter against another stato at the end which made his day. woulda liked to have seen more cars there as i don't think there was 670 there like last year. and there was no soundoff competition or dyno competition and i'm sure some other events were left out which was a little disapointing. some of the VL's i can remember off the top of my head were; MAX PSI (tho i didnt get to see it run a 9 second pass, i think i remember a 10.10 at 130+ MPH, still great to see it run) ONC16 (this car is awesome, best plates ever, was good to see it up close for once) 411 PSI PWR747 2 Original Walkinshaws OBT100 BQQ57 plus a whole heap more that i can't remember off the top of my head. can't wait for next years cruise and now i'm getting excited for powercruise.

Belive it or not, I got my car running on sat night... so I was there in it. Anyone get any pics of it? Good work Keith on the 10.10 @ 135 mph !!! fastest run of the day and a good way to show the LS1's up.. ahahah.. The side by side run with 411PSI was good... Some girl behind me was going "the lights green.. why arn't they going?????" hahahha.. Was an ok day - saw a few good cars out, but there seemed to be a lack of some of the Big Players that SC was going on about. Didn't see OVK671? VKP51? a few other feature cars that should have been there. Also thought there were going to be more cars than what did run down the track? did all the cars turn up? Oh, and what was with the ford there to do a demo burnout.... Anyway - that aside... was an ok day and had fun boosting the Calais around again! Did anyone else see the motorbike crash on the way home?
