one thing that this shows is that bank cheques can be dodgy

Update was he was caught November 2008 .. spent about 10 months through the court system .. where he was finally sentenced.. he got 2 years having already spent 10 months in remand .. he serves the remaining in the bin.
He was questioned to the where abouts of the car , he refused to answer on the record and off the record he just said the car was gone. He pleaded guilty to the charges .. got a light sentence and he will be back to pollute the earth in November this year.
A claim was put in for restitution(pay back his victims).. which was denied by the judge..
Still hard to get it out of my head ... i've moved on a fair bit since then .. and life has its ways of evening things out .. when you win and lose in situations in your life.
Im happy to say things are looking brighter and life is treating us well .. ive seen people in much worse situations since and before what happened to me .. and $13,800 is **** all in the grand scheme of things.

Gotta be careful with large sums of cash too especially if ur making the deal outside of banking hours. In many instances the buyer is most likely a complete stranger. Via a transfer form they themselves or an associate of theirs can pay you a visit the same night and do the place over looking for the folding, if they are successful, ur left with no car and no money..
Best to try and do the deal before the bank closes at a site away from home, so once you have the money go throw it straight into ur account!!
Evil, Dishonest and decieftul cvnts are everywhere nowadays!!
