Just to dig up an old thread.... Mine is a A8S, although its 12/86, and I bought it from the original owner No rear headrests, 1" master cylinder, rear disc 3.08, factory tow pack, black door handles (although with black scuff plates), but has a full instrument panel, and when i got it, had calais wheels on it.... Also, mine had been re-sprayed a few years before i got it, so cant help with pinstriping.

My mate has my old1 for sale around 3k i think pm me if any1 interested

i recently bought a vl wagon with the code A8S. it's had alot of calais parts put on it and has had a two tone respray somewhere along the way. i bought it as a project as she's a bit rough around the edges, so just doing it up bit by bit.

sorry mate, missed your reply. nah mine's currently dark green over silver and started life as a gold colour. it's now got a calais front end, calais dash, grey seats and door trims pic is just before i bought it, now wears vs statesman rims. i'm currently pulling bits and pieces apart to tidy it up, have removed gas setup and towbar, and halfway through installing a new built trimatic and b&m megashifter

I'd love an extra gear in my V8 Berlina, but am just going to change the diff ratio instead. Abit friendlier at 100ks and still heaps of torque for taking off Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah my v8 wasn't much chop in 3rd at 110 on the freeway

Even though mines originally an NA RB30, mine has those dealer stripes as well, they grow on you lol. Do you know where yours came from? Which dealer?
