Didn't get a photo or much of a look, but I saw a Walky rep on my way to work yesterday, don't think I've seen it around before, was a lightish silver/blue (not panarama, darker than that). And yeah, looked pretty straight, anyone seen anything interesting since that dark blue one?

I've got both sedan and wagon rears here it would've been so much easier if it was a straight swap if only but they are far from it wagon one is fatter and mounting brackets are all different Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I thought you might have checked it out, they look bloody similar tho. And yes, pretty sure those plastic windscreen moulds were on all models, although I'm sure VKs had a nice rubber seal (like VL rear) so why the hell they went backwards i'll never know.

Bonded screens were a step foward (hence why the are still used today) the problem lay in Holden having no money in the late 1980's, so costs were cut in areas they shouldnt have been namely Rustproofing, Paint, and Quality control. VKs had the old style rubber seal, which still rusted and leaked, not to mention a pain in the ass to replace. But yeah VL screens are dodgy at best.

Lol Mike I bought your frind windscreen set. They're sitting in a box.. over there *points*. And no I'm talkin about the side windows, I reckon it just doesn't look right if they're the same colour as the body. And about window seals, I need to put one on my new tailgate.. can't decide what to do.. I don't like how the round ones don't line up with the side windows, but the originals leak..
