28-04-08, 17:42 GMT+10#70 You can find EBC pads at these authorised dealers...
http://www.ebcbrakes.co.nz/stockists
But I would ring around, I remember ringing FBI for a price on a Momo steering wheel a couple of years back, they were over $100 dearer than than some places!
I would however, like to know where you can get the ELF products from.

30-04-08, 14:32 GMT+10#73 $125k though. Maloo's are only $65k brand new and I'm sure those mods can be done for less than $60k!
It's not a factory built car with build numbers and special tags etc, so it wont hold any more resale value either
Pretty cool looking car though!

30-04-08, 16:30 GMT+10#76 One question.. where are they hiding the 3 (imaginery) seats? I'd like to know their secret..
But it does look pretty damn good, should have one of those VE Walkinshaw bonnets though.. would love to go for a ride in something like that.

30-04-08, 18:47 GMT+10#77 I thought Maloos were more like $70k, and extra for the "performance pack", leather and 20inch wheels etc. They ****ed up though, cos you can't get MRC on Maloo. Their options are pretty expensive though, and I imagine the price they give is for that ute with the upgraded wheels etc. The superchargers are over $16k for the "stage 1" tune.
I've driven the new Walkinshaw and it is a bloody good thing, a dump load more torque than stock makes for an easy drive. Despite the extra grunt its not a hell of a lot faster to the legal limit, has real trouble putting the power to the ground even with 275s on the rear. Helluva lot of fun tho, specially if you like driving while looking thru the side windows!

30-04-08, 21:30 GMT+10#79 It says the magnetic suspension is only in the GTS models. Kind of looks like they're too lazy to write individual descriptions

01-05-08, 06:38 GMT+10#80 The base Maloo is $65k, I went to look at one at my local HSV dealer... thought it would make a good daily driver. I can live without leather and I'd put 22s on it so the performance pack doesn't really interest me
$16k for there supercharger pack is a bit much in my opinion when you can get a GenTT twin turbo kit that will make more power for half that price. The thing I don't like about Walkinshaw Performance is that they don't make many of their own parts, so your not really getting anything special, other than the name. For example they buy King Springs, paint them black and sell them for twice the price as "Walkinshaw Performance Springs"
