Extractors/2.5" exhaust, LSD, cold air intake, XF throttle body, cam. Just basic stuff. That shoud be enough to get it moving a bit harder.

If you have the money and you do it right, you will not have a problem. But i understand what you mean, i just cant see the sense in putting money into an NA donk that still could get whooped by a magna or ea falcon. I have a worked n/a and have never really had any major problems with it. Ive beat turbo's with it, Xr8's, 5.0lts etc. But of course i aint going to beat a 11-12second modified turbo. Your talking about spending money right and first time and not having hassles but that can come at 10 times the cost of building my n/a. You start modifying a turbo and your looking at other aspects as well. It costs around $1500-2000 (est) extra on top of your rebuild for the turbo then you have to get fuel pumps/ regs/ injectors, computer, internals, gearbox all upgraded. Then as soon as you get it on the road your worrying about a cop or the epa bending you over. Dont get me wrong you cant go past the easy power a turbo makes and it is good but in this modern climate having a cooler sticking out behind of your front bar is asking for trouble. Least with a n/a 6 or 8 you dont have to worry about that crap as much. Get in and drive it.

Uh huh....I know for a fact that cops love nothing more than a cammy 6 or 8 lumpin its head off at the lights...real easy to conceal aswell that isnt it? Lol. Yes, intercoolers stand out, if people are that concerned, theres black paint...

All he will hear is me chuckling as he pops my bonnet and finds nothing to defect and you cringing your car gets put off the road for another month. Difference is that when they pop the bonnet they find it a lot harder to pick things on a cammed 8 or 6, than a car with a turbo.

i have seen turbos i have driven turbo vls from the form of BT1's to calais turbos even the most popular vl know as PANNIC, before it changed hands, i saw PANNIC for years from when it started its time as VL JET. i know own a HIPO rb30e NA which has 125 rwkw. fair enough the turbo queens can flame those that want to do up there NA, they can speak up and give out there opinions, jsut let us NA boys do what we want to do, i dont see myself and others flaming turbo queens for posting up a sh*t 1/4 time with there sisters hair dryer strapped to the intake. and i think a na bonnet with twin XF TB + twin 3 inch air pipping looks sexy and when you see a hipo na at a dyno i think it turns more heads then jsut your every day run of the mill turbo vl with cooler that doses till the cows come home.

I think most people would rather see a stock VLT on the dyno then an N/A with a XF TB and a custom intake Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i dont know about that G, i have spoken to many people in the performance industry and yeh fair enough the vl turbo is something but if you tune vl turbos day in day out then they sortta lose there spark, when i took my vl to get tuned the last time with the xf tb mod my vl did catch a lot of attention of the good kind. everyone has there opinions and its good to see no flamming.
