I've still got them Nick. They might make an appearance again for the odd road trip but as I get older I'm liking the cushy ride of the big sidewalls on the 15's.

12-11-08, 16:11 GMT+10#69 Thanks guys. It'll be 21 years next month. Where does the time go ?!
Glad you liked my little love affair. I just don't have the money to make a movie about her like Eric Bana has done with his Falcon.
Nothing much has changed apart from a few running repairs and trying to keep the battery charged up. Hubcaps are being painted as I write this, but I'll have to paint the wheels black before they go on. I hope to have the original exhaust back on soon too.
Oh, and no, she'll never be for sale. Sorry.

15-11-08, 07:37 GMT+10#77 All up $60,233.94 in 21 years.
Less $24,792.00 for the cost of the car in 1987 and $7,042.00 for the repaint and you're looking at $28,399.94 over 21 years.
That includes all servicing (except fluids), tyres, wheels and any recent resto parts and works out to $1352.38 per year. Doesn't include rego or insurance.
Well, you did ask.

07-12-08, 21:54 GMT+10#79 21 years this month right Craig?
How did the hubbies turnout? I'm contemplating painting mine again or perhaps going with Chasers. I wouldn't mind looking at some pics of the exhaust if you ended up re-fitting it.
So glad you're never selling it too

08-12-08, 09:26 GMT+10#80 Work on it has sort of stalled for the moment Jorge.
I need to get the wheels painted black before I put the hubbies back on as you see the wheel straight through them. The exhaust I haven't gotten to yet as I'm still looking for the rear hangar bracket, or at least some of the extrusion to make one up.
The back seat and parcel shelf are out at the moment. I had an annoying rattle there and between the foam under the parcel shelf rotting away (which I replaced), one of the inner A window frames was also busted where the seatbelt comes through the parcel shelf. No idea how that happened. New A-frame cover sprayed up and just waiting on some time to get it all back together.
