No its running 29 PSI to be exact, does it really matter what boost it runs? youve had 31 in yours too, ive tryed 31 too, an 34 too, boost is just a number that means bananas, as long as the car keeps ****ting out power it doesn't matter "what boost" its on. I dont measure a car by how much boost its on i race the car with power figures. Thats of coarse my opinion, everyones different.

Thats more of a statement rather than a question! Just to confirm rather than speculate, lpg747 has never had 31psi, it does however have a 29psi tune in it, but only ran on 24psi. 90/10s and a fresh set of slicks should wake the car up a little.
Chris' car was running around 26psi on friday and has had 34ish psi in it, its amazing what factory rods are capable of and yes as said previously, it definately drove to the track and back home!
Sinister, motor has 7.5:1 comp.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
no, it was something I heard therefor wasnt a statement... was just asking the question which you guys have more then cleared up

yeh my car takes about 15 - 17 secs also, its annoying but found my rear wheel in the turbo was smashed, well all the teeth were chewed out pretty bad.. so will make a difference next time I race should come onto boost a lot better...

cant your gas combos get away with higher compression? especially with the fuel used.... or do you keep it low on purpose just to pump more psi?.
say 8.7:1 or something, and less boost.. wouldnt it end up around the same power but you'll have a lot better throttle response and the like?

depends who builds the engine some ppl well the master likes a diff comp set up

to be totally honest we are all really happy for chris and ben. Its good to see people giving the GAS game a proper go to push these things to there potential.. I mean my car hasnt been touched in 5 years it was always built as a mild street car, we never planned on it even running the times it did!!!
I think chris car has a lot more in it and I beleive people see our cars out there running these numbers will encurage more ppl to go LPG and it would be really good to see!!!! Plus now there are LPG VL's like SNRSGT, LPG747 who are proving they can run the numbers also! On top of that youve got Jasons XE and John's mustang and old XF that ran the numbers too! Its only a matter of time before more and more people give it a go! I know there are even more LPG VL's in the build with much bigger setups looking for serious numbers
No doubt once I get my head/turbo fixed and the car running again I will race, I love racing its why I built the car to ENJOY IT! not let it sit in the garage Im not expecting much more from mine, just saving for a proper big set up... just fixing it up and making it look decent too, like finishing the trim with the TV's etc etc. But as long as the LPG Cars are going faster and faster then we can start giving the petrol guys a run for proper numbers Not this 10Sec bullsh*t...

I thought gas had a higher octane than pump fuel but it was still lower than race fuel? If this is true then they probably couldn't run higher compression than the equivilant c16 powered petrol car on the same boost?

The driver of the car, should race his own car.... Not drive other peoples car. I was in LPG747 when he minced that GTR (which is 4 wheel drive, and has "370kw at the wheels")of the lights. And as it being a 2k bet??????? More like a 200 dollar bet!!!!!!!!!! Its amazing how the story changes. And daniel didn't race, cause the kid's got no licence at the moment

ONABAR ran 10.5 @ 132...
car needs suspension work, takes off like sh*t.... But it has the MPH and thats wot matters...

According to the RRD website it ran 10.65@131, still impressive though for standard manifolds and bottom end! Maybe you got the time confused with Petros'.
I know where your going with this though, but you cant compare a car with dropped pipes & c16, to a car with exhaust & pump fuel! Thats the thing with gas street tune is race tune...
Yes i know, its like compairing a VLT to a rotor... Remember I do own a GAS VL... Its awesome having 1 tune.. i use to help my bro all the time when he raced, had to get car towed, retuned, race fuel and no pipes.. pain in the backside..
ONABAR's car on street tune is very quick though ud be supprised...

I know that you know the pros and cons of gas, its bout time others starting realising aswell! Im not trying to disrespect or downplay anyones car, cos i know both of them, and know they are both quick cars. But yeah same thing, 1 makes 330ish rwkw race tune and then 260ish rwkw on the street, and the other makes 300ish rwkw all day every day...
Its best to keep the argument on the track though, where you can run your numbers, cos the timeboard doesnt lie,.. well the right lane at heathcote does, but thats another story...
ROFL yeh i know stupid MPH on heathcote right lane...
besides that MPH is the best indicator...
Ari's car makes 275 RWKW on street tune.. Mine made 288 RWKW on same dyno and did 130 MPH.. i dont ever listen to dyno readings, its a tuning tool, thats it.

Well yeh you would find it hard to belive because it wasent sav's G.T.R that he beat buddy it was the G.T.R of sav's brother the light silver skyline heard that it makes more power anyway then sav's and the right person should of been driving the car in the first place.
