Should last forever, especially considering it has no moving parts. Warranty is 3 years/ unlimited kilometres.

Went for a spirited drive last weekend for the first time with my new lokka. Found it was brilliant around big sweepers but ****house around tight corners - under and not under acceleration, it didnt seem to want to unlock and was pushing me around the corners and causing some painful understeer.
Funny enough my local mechanics don't know a real lot about them, so I'm wondering:
a) does other people's lokka's do the same? and
b) what can I do to fix it.
If its gonna be **** around tight corners on windy roads, and can't be fixed, its useless to me Please help!

I have no idea how yours works as it is a different design to mine, but it sounds like the cam gear clearance might need closing up a little. Simon might have set it up with a greater clearance to lock up harder to better suit his purposes (drag racing). I'm pretty sure both the old and new designs operate in a similar way but I'm not 100% on that.
Mine does none of what you described.

Yeah I think so too, but I thought the lack of dog teeth on the side gears with the old ones might change the way it operated.

I have no idea how it works, but I'll pass that info on to the guy who's supposed to be looking into it for me and we'll see if we can loosen something off, or something :S

To adjust it the whole thing will have to be pulled apart and the side gear shims replaced with thicker items. And even so, that might not even fix the problem. I suggest you speak to Simon about it as he is the one who put it together initially.
Your best bet is probably to ring 4WD Systems in Adelaide (08 83690033) and speak to Tom.
