11-05-07, 17:01 GMT+10#61 not knit picking but if your gunna do that to your bay, should have relocated the the fusebox to the glovebox/inside the cab, run headlight loom under the guard and pissed off reverse polarity relay or whatever is going on over there...
could still do that really...
ohh and polish the compressor housing

haha yeah the compressor housing will get done, she's still a work in progress. Got it home yesterday, so stoked!
The reason behind the fusebox was mainly because i didn't want to loose my entire glove box, i need it to hold cd's, water bottles etc cos i hate stuff lying around in the interior, for now instead i got the fuse box lid painted gloss black by ray genner and it looks really good!
Simular sort or reasoning behind the wiring, to do the wiring in the guards you have to remove the guards, drill through some fairly thick metal etc, making it a massive **** around to install, and an even bigger one should i get a short or a wiring issue etc as the guards would have to come off! Once they are tucked up you can hardly see them, more again once the washer bottle is in, in the end i didn't build it as a show car, or a race car... it's a street car, but i would like to think it is capable of being respectable in the other two arenas as well
Thanks for all the positive comments guys, just getting it home was so so so good, i still look at the bay and can't believe i actually own that, after looking at so many simularly modified calais turbo's on here for years and drooling over them..

13-05-07, 13:28 GMT+10#74 Hey sorry mate, looking for around 400rwhp, or 300rwkw, but anything over 370rwhp would be nice. I have a 3L surge tank, twin 500hp bosh pumps and a carter lift pump sitting at home to put in it when we can be bothered, for now it just has the 984 in it.
