Mate, you're a fair nutjob *larfs*, what a huge effort, and the best bit of all is the HOME BUILT bit! Awesome job, keep it up. P.S. when you're done, you can come and start on mine... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lol thanks guys.... yeah my missus keeps saying im a nut too starting to spray parts of the car orange.. ie bumpers guards bonnet etc... all extra parts ive got... will leave car white at the moment till car is tuned dragged etc... so as not to risk scratches on dyno at workshop and so on.. so i have all white stuff still on the car at the moment and will have all replacement parts that are orange and will paint roof rear guards and stuff last... i know it sounds wierd but itll work........ i hope Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey all been a while cause of work and stuff.... but heres a little update.. got my gt35/82 this week and are in the process of getting it ready to fit (lines and stuff) and are going to sand the compressor cover and airbrush it the same as my other turbo (T70) have ordered my turbosmart 38mm gate too and have airbrushed somemore fittings too... still waiting for paint on radiator hoses to dry properly before i put any spanners on em... so i spose its gettin quite close to tune time now once these two are fitted it will be dyno time everything takes forever to do on this engine... have to take my time one slip with a spanner...... =tears cheers for all the comments guys dave Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

This is particularly amazing. It's not enough you get to see the nitty gritty on a car of this quality. Looks fantastic. May I ask what you're radiator was worth?

I love it Love the spray booth and especially love the fuel system idea in the boot. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thanks guys yeah the radiator was 1700 with thermo, the hoses (top and bottom) were nearly 900 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

That's cool, it's mint as. That's around the price range I was thinking. 16" single thermo? And are you painting the rest of the car? If not, I like the idea of a nuts bay on an externally standard looking car.
yeah 16 inch thermo i will end up painting the rest of the car same color but for now will bring it out as it is... for drag racing and dyno tuning. then later do the color change on the body... just want to drive it its been 5 years now Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Holy geez, I've been meaning to read this thread for a while. Going to a lot of effort and sparing very little expense, and it all shows. Looking forward to seeing it completed and even looking forward to seeing the next steps. Orange/Blue/Red in the bay looks good. Making your own booth, you're insane - I like it.

watch the dirt in those cracks on the floor, seriously... it'll come up quick!

Nothing a slight hose down won't fix?

thanks for the comments guys in regards to the booth we are only using it for primer / putty spray at the moment... still have to concrete floor and install extraction fans before any clear is sprayed onto car panels or box. if its only something small ie turbo housing can use an airbrush which doesnt kick up much dust... and as bax said can wet the floor down too. should have the new turbo housing and top radiator hose on this weekend.. just waiting for the clear to set properly Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
