All apps have been recieved, and sent off. So for now, it's closed. If someone pulls out, there is a waiting list of:
KEEN AS
VHELLT
Mazza
DeVL
Dceptv
We have a total of 16 cars, with 5 being original Walkinshaws (inc limo), 1 x VR SS (PSI 355), 1 x VL exec (VLT 88), 1 x VLC injected V8 (jacks), 1 x SV88, 1 x VL HDT Turbo Sport (SLOW6) and 6 VLCT's.
Should be a great display!
I will have a 6mx3m cover, small BBQ and stereo. Now is brainstorming time, to think of other things that we can bring to make our display better.
Shirts will be designed next, and possibly a new calaisturbo banner. Walkinshaw.net will also have a banner.
So start thinking of ideas!
Cheers
sounds like its gonna be a good display.....im still tossing up whether to rush in and get my motor rebuilt before motorvation or just take my time and wait till after.
yeh man rushing is never worth it, you'll be regretting it once the show is over. I was in a rush for motorvation 19, was gonna just build a mild 5L to get it ready in time, decided to pull out last minute so i could come back the year after with a nice stroker instead.
Well my parts havnt rocked up yet and i might be geting some more parts now either way im still keen to enter it just depends on how long it take me to install the new parts and get it tuned.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
OK, some of you may have received an email from the plex, asking for your cars pics.
I will be forwarding the pics through. If you have already sent me pics, then all good. If I am waiting for your pics, please get them to me ASAP.
As for cars that are still being built, the plex has told me that partial build pics are fine for now, but they will need completed pics by the 15th of December.
Any questions, let me know!
Craig
Too late mate, forms have already been sent in... I've been told, the plex has over 800 entries, and thats too many, so until we get confirmation on how many cars from our display have been accepted, then I don't know how many spots will be allocated to us.

As Lexie pointed out, the VL SL is Mark's car (VLT 88).
The VR SS is shanes - PSI 355.
People could have had their cars in, but they took too long to get pics and apps to me, or pulled out at the last min.
No one "missed" out.
It's also not about what car you have on here, it's about cars in general. The owner of CT doesn't even own a VL, let alone a calais turbo.

Hey guys, looks like i wont be making it again this year. the car has hit a stand still, as to the fact that need to find someone to finish it. the mechanic who was sposed to finish has run out of time/effort for it. plus his costs were starting to get way up there (ended up settling for $8g!- had to have the motor stripped and checked again). had the car towed to ova boost, but called them today and they recon they have gone over it, and due to a bad history of working on cars that have been 3/4 finished, its a bit too much work for them at the moment. so now i am at a stand still. my patience has just about depleted, both with time and costs (am on about $90g and the car still isn't running!), so unless you boys can suggest some where else for me to take it, think im gonna give up for a while and park it up. has been nothing but misery and expense for 2 and half years.
just had the exhaust finished up, what a pain. i recommend to everyone to leave the standard single pipe. but it does look pretty tuff though.
sorry fellas
