Sounds like someone followed you and knew exactly what they were after.. I doubt this stuff will be on ebay as it looks as though someone has just taken what they need to get their car on the road.. very unfortunate, if I were you I'd stick with it.. Like ya said a lot of time and money have gone into it, it'd be a shame to let her go.. Just be very cautious of people following you etc.. thats all I look out for when I'm close to the place I'm going to.. Once again best of luck..

Ok guys!!! yesterday my insurance company agreed to accept the claim and pay me out... Today i went to the depot where the car was and we carried out a valuation on the damages and loss... I will be recieving a letter to be notified on how much they will be giving me for the damages and losses... The only thing they will not be paying me for is the stereo/DVD sytem becoz apparently it was not on the policy...

how long was your ignition barrel screwed? i mean most vls will start with any vl key regardless but its always a good idea to change the barrel soon after purchasing a car..

sorry to hear about the loss mate ive been there aswell ive found one of the best imobilizers is a custom one that you do to the car yourself and add a steering wheel lock aswell as a deterent its going to be alot harder for the scum to drive away if you have a steering wheel lock fitted and as for giving up on the car how many times have you heard of ppl in street commodores whos cars where stolen they got them back and did them up better awesome
